Performer Rejects Anti-Vax Position After Voicing Contentious Covid Feature

The acclaimed actor has provided his narration to a new documentary that casts doubt on the legitimacy of immunizations and praises ex- government figure RFK Jr.

The Documentary's Contentious Basis

Called "Plague of Corruption," the film is adapted from a well-known publication co-authored by a controversial scientist, who became famous during the global outbreak for claims that the virus was linked to a bad strain of the seasonal immunization.

The publication's co-author, Kent Heckenlively, has also written books with controversial radio host a known commentator. He took to social media hailing Neeson's role in the film.

A Firm Denial

Representatives for Neeson have provided a statement firmly refuting claims that he supports anti-vax beliefs.

"We all recognize that misconduct might be present within the pharmaceutical industry, but that must not be conflated with rejection of vaccines," the comment states. "He has never been, and cannot be described as, anti-vaccination. His extensive work with the UN children's agency reinforces his consistent support for public-health initiatives."

The statement added that the actor did not shape the film's editorial content and that inquiries about its assertions should be directed to the creators.

Central Themes Featured in the Film

As presented, the narration read by Neeson makes several strong statements:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "medical science has become deeply politicised."
  • Kennedy is shown stating, "The big problem with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • It takes aim at pandemic restrictions, saying they caused severe distress that cost thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it cites a report that they were "developed too quickly" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Past Background and Recent Disputes

It also references a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the topic of a formal apology by the broadcaster for violations of guidelines.

Recently, Kennedy called on the Centers for Disease Control to revise its official position that there is no causal relationship between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is echoed in the film, contrary to a new report from the WHO reiterating no connection has been found.

An Earlier Statement of Advocacy

Standing in contrast to the documentary's narrative, Neeson has in the past shown firm endorsement for vaccines in his role as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he described vaccines as "an incredible achievement," adding that "The debate about vaccines in lately has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in our history."

The film finishes with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This isn't the end of our story. Rather, it is the start of a different phase."
