Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet transporting the US defense secretary was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was found in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official statement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft landed in accordance with standard protocol and everyone onboard, such as Pete Hegseth, is secure," an official representative said in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels at the time.

This event isn't the first time that a American defense plane carrying a senior official has experienced equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane transporting Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to head back to the US capital after suffering a mechanical fault.
